Meeting Between the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Minister of Religious Affairs of Brunei Darussalam

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Brunei Darussalam met with the Minister of Religious Affairs of Brunei to discuss the expansion of religious and cultural cooperation and ways to strengthen bilateral relations.

Mr. Mohammad Taghi Rajabi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Brunei Darussalam, met with Pehin Dato Ustaz Haji Badaruddin Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs of Brunei Darussalam.

During the meeting, the two sides referred to the strong Islamic and cultural commonalities between the two countries and emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in religious, cultural, and educational fields. They also discussed ways to enhance interaction between religious institutions, academic and Islamic centers, and to exchange experiences in promoting Islamic values.

Both sides underlined the importance of continuing consultations and joint cooperation in order to further strengthen the friendly relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Brunei Darussalam
